WEEK 1:

Building a successful fitness business takes more than possessing the right combination of knowledge and experience.  Thousands of fitness professionals across the country have mastered the nuts and bolts of running a fitness business.  They have learned how to set up their business, offer the right selection of products and services to appeal to their customers, and have become savvy in terms of identifying their potential clientele and marketing to them.  Definitely, all important ingredients for any business looking to be survive and grow.  However, even doing all these things and more may not be enough to make their business a lasting success.

In this session you will define your Life Success Plan.

WEEK 3:

Fitness Business Operations

In this session you will design a business operations manual, an important element of any business. This is not a task that can be left uncompleted until someone finds enough time to deal with it. An operations manual is more than just an effective training tool, it will also empower your staff or family members to keep your business running smoothly during the times when you will out of the office on vacation, dealing with a prolonged illness, preparing to retire or spending time on other projects or responding to any serious incident which can of course, occur at any time.  

WEEK 4:

Fitness Business Organization and Planning

In this session you will develop your roadmap and blueprint that you can look at every day and know exactly what you need to do next to accelerate your business. A solid business plan is critical for planning, identifying opportunities, decision making, and evaluating your progress. A business plan also helps you establish timelines and milestones to help guide your progress and make smart modifications. 

WEEK 5:

Fitness Business Web Sites, Blogs, and List Building

A web site is a powerful business building tool if used right. You will learn the four different types of web sites: 

  • Credibility Site

  • Lead Generating Site

  • Product Site; and 

  • Program Enrollment Site 

You will also be guided through the process of creating a web site that will generate leads and build your mailing list quickly.

WEEK 6:

Fitness Business Strategic Alliances

Joint ventures are extremely powerful when it comes to accelerating your business growth. You will understand and begin creating highly profitable joint ventures and strategic alliances with other business owners and organizations. You will understand how to approach a potential partner, how to structure your partnership, and how to make your deals mutually beneficial.

WEEK 7:

Fitness Business Speaking

In this session you will learn: the primary reasons why speaking is so amazingly powerful; who to target for potential speaking opportunities; exactly how to approach these organizations; how to follow up to increase your chances for being accepted to speak; how to structure an effective talk; tips and suggestions for conducting a strong talk; how to funnel people into your programs; and tips to preparing an effective talk.

WEEK 8:

Fitness Business Public Relations

Find out what public relations is and how it impacts your bottom line. Learn the new rules of public relations and why you do not have to spend a lot of money in getting it. Learn the difference between public relations and advertising and how to work effectively with the media to be the expert they go to in your field or geographical area. Learn how to get publicity through press releases, fact sheets, feature stories, case histories, op-ed articles, speaking and broadcast writing, letters to the editor; and so much more.

WEEK 9:

Fitness Business Networking and Referrals 

In this session we will discuss how to successfully generate clients and grow your fitness business using two specific strategies:  networking and establishing a referral system.  In this section, we will provide you with a brief overview of each and discuss what you will learn in this course.

In terms of networking, you will learn:

  • How to see networking as a long-term strategy that can yield long lasting results.
  • That by altering your expectations of networking and becoming more comfortable with the process, you open the door to new marketing possibilities.  
  • That networking is about working to provide a service for others.  It’s not about you.
  • How by focusing on your target market and niche, you can accomplish world-class networking.

WEEK 10:

Fitness Business Sales

In this session you will learn: the 7 most commonly heard objections; the simple question that you can use for every objection; how to get the potential client to ask you to “sell them.”; specifically how to handle the money objection; how to unmask the individual’s real issue or concern; and effective methods for addressing every objection often encountered by fitness professionals.

WEEK 11:

Fitness Business Success Psychology and Wealth Creation

In this session you will pull everything together and complete your Life Success Plan, Daily Plan and Vision Board.

WEEK 12:

Fitness Business Revenue Streams

The secret of creating a self-propelled lifestyle business lies in your own thinking. You will be guided through the process of creating systems, documenting your processes, and building a dedicated team, some of the most important concepts to grasp and apply in your business. You will be fully equipped to successfully work with freelancers, build a support team, and automate your business so it can operate without you.
